✨ What is National Introverts Week? ✨

National Introverts Week is a dedicated time to recognize and appreciate introverts for who they are. It's a celebration of their amazing strengths, such as their deep thinking, creativity, empathy, and ability to thrive in solitude. We aim to create a supportive and understanding environment where introverts can feel acknowledged and celebrated.

Some of the most successful leaders/entrepreneurs are self-proclaimed introverts. See some notable introverts - throughout history and today - who have made major impacts on our world with their great contributions to society.

  1. Mark Zuckerberg – He is known for co-founding the social media website Facebook and its parent company Meta Platforms (formerly Facebook, Inc.). As of May 2023, Zuckerberg's net worth was estimated at $85.0 billion according to the Forbes Real Time Billionaires making him the 14th richest person in the world.

  2. Bill Gates -He is best known for co-founding software giant Microsoft. As of March 2023, Gates has an estimated net worth of $116 billion, making him the fourth-richest person in the world according to Bloomberg News.

  3. Warren Buffett - American business magnate, investor, and philanthropist. He is currently the chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway.   Due to his immense investment success, as of March 2023, he possesses a net worth of $104 billion, making him the fifth-richest person in the world.

  4. Janet Jackson - American singer, songwriter, actress, and dancer. In 1991, Jackson signed the first of two record-breaking multimillion-dollar contracts with Virgin Records, establishing her as one of the highest-paid artists in the industry. As of May 2023, Janet Jackson’s approximate net worth is $180 million.

  5. Elon Musk - He is the founder, CEO and chief engineer of SpaceX; CEO and product architect of Tesla, Inc.; owner and CEO of Twitter; and co-founder of OpenAI. Musk is the second-wealthiest person in the world, according to both the Bloomberg Billionaires Index and Forbes's Real Time Billionaires list, as of May 2023 primarily from his ownership stakes in Tesla and SpaceX, with an estimated net worth of around $167 billion according to the Bloomberg and $176.2 billion according to the latter.

  6. Michael Jordan - American former professional basketball player and businessman.  By acclamation, Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time.  According to Forbes, as of 2023, Michael Jordan’s net worth is an estimated $1.7 billion.

  7. Rosa Parks - was an American activist in the civil rights movement best known for her pivotal role in the Montgomery bus boycott. The United States Congress has honored her as "the first lady of civil rights" and "the mother of the freedom movement. Rosa Parks was one of the wealthiest civil rights leaders and one of the most well-known. In her time, Rosa Parks’ net worth was estimated to be $1.5 million, according to Wikipedia, Forbes, and Business Insider.

  8. Felicia Edwards (myself) - Owner and operator of Felicia Edwards, CPA PLLC a minority-woman lead firm geared towards providing solutions to entities seeking to resolve accounting and audit related matters. According to a report by the AICPA in 2019, only 2% of CPAs are African American and only 1% of partners at CPA firms are African American. Our outreach is to work with minority youth to help to increase these percentages.
